I ran my first run yesterday --
Not a huge distance, only 3.7kms -- but I did it anyway. One has gotta start somewhere, right?

10th October 2015 was declared as the National Sports Day. So many running events. Since I haven't been running for a while (and not in the fittest stage!), I opted for Orchid Fun Run & Ride organised by Petronita.
It was good --
The event started with warming up session led by Atilia Haron. Did some stretching, plunge and push-up.

Met my buddy from high school, Nadya
We started running together but eventually got separated halfway towards the first km.
It was very hard to fully run -- there were about 2000 participants yesterday; and most just leisurely walked. So yea.
I ran; but occasionally had to power walked among the leisure walkers. But I managed to get to the finishing line within 37 minutes or so. Quite an achievement considering this is my first run.

My finisher medal.
I have a few other runs coming up. I'm actually looking forward for them now :)
